We publish novels, non-fiction, history and poetry and are not limited by genre. See the vulgar books link at left for information on books. We are publishing a good proportion of books for the secondary school/teen market and we have begun a series of radical histories, starting with Radical Melbourne (published in November 2001) and moving around the capital cities of Australia in coming years. We recently published Radical Brisbane and Radical Melbourne 2: The Enemy Within. We have also established the Vulgar Working Classics series, we hope to reprint a classic Australian working class novel each year. The most recent is Jean Devanny's Sugar Heaven (released October 2002). Recently published
Greg Bogaerts Black Diamonds and Dust was launched by John Maitland (national president CFMEU) at the Newcastle Region Public Library on April 15 and by Overland editor Nathan Hollier on 7 May at the Emerging Writers festival in Melbourne.
